Stay Arming

Stay arming will partially arm your system to permit you to remain in your home by arming the outer zones of your system (i.e. doors

and windows) and ignoring interior zones (motion detectors). All defined zones in the system must be closed (the green

is ON) to Stay arm the system. To Stay arm your system:

This arming method is the same as Stay arming (page 13) except that the Entry Delay timer (see page 16) is ignored. Therefore, any

armed zone that is breached will immediately generate an alarm. To Instant arm your system:

Force arming will ignore open zones to allow you to arm your system. However, once the zone is closed, your system will then arm

that zone as well. This feature is useful when a motion detector is protecting the area where your Magellan console is located.

During Force arming, the motion detector will remain unarmed (ignored) until you exit the area that it protects. The system will then

arm the motion detector. By default, your system is programmed with this feature. You can also Force arm your system using your

remote control (see page 8).
