CHECKING THE V-BELT
1. Remove:
• driver seat, passenger seat
• lift the cargo bed
• Belt cover
Inspect the V-Belt (1) for cracks, wear,
chipping or fraying.
Measure the V-Belt width (2).
V-belt width
33.2 mm (1.31 in)
<Limit:> 29.9 mm (1.18 in)
Install and removing the V-belt
Install the bolts (1) into the secondary
fixed
sheave holes.

Note:
Tightening the bolts (1) will push the
secondary sliding sheave away,
causing the gap between the secondary
fixed and sliding
sheaves to widen .
Remove or install the V-belt (2) from the
primary sheave and secondary sheave.
Remove the bolts that were installed to
spread the secondary sheaves.
Install
• Drive belt cover
• Lower the cargo bed
• Passenger's, driver's seat
