4.17 Domestic Hot Water Flow Switch
The replacement of this part can be done within the
limits of "minimum clearances". Should there be a side
clearance of 150mm or more then the multifunctional
control/air ratio unit assembly need not be removed.
Isolate the domestic hot water inlet and drain, refer to
Sections 1.3 and 1.6.
When replacing the flow switch it is recommended that
the water inlet filter is cleaned or renewed.
When replacing the flow switch make sure that it is
correctly positioned, with the flow direction arrow
pointing upward.
Remove the burner as Section 2.2.
Remove the multifunctional control and air/ratio
assembly as described in Section 4.15.
Disconnect the front sensing tube.
Disconnect the flow switch connectors, see
diagram 4.13.
Remove the locknut from the flow switch and lower the
domestic hot water inlet pipe assembly, including flow
switch, from the base of the main panel.
Disconnect the filter union nut.
