ABOUT THE KEYPAD
General
Your keypad allows you to control all system functions. The keypad features
backlit telephone-style (digital) keys, and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which
shows the nature and location of all occurrences.
The keypad features a built-in sounder which emits alarm sounds during alarm
conditions and produces warning tones during entry (and exit, if so-programmed)
delay periods. The sounder also provides acknowledgement tones when keys are
pressed, and confirmation tones for successful command entries.
Keypad Style
Your system uses the keypad style shown on page 9. The keys are located
behind a flip-down cover which can be removed, if desired.
Keypad Displays
The keypad has a Fixed-Word display, as shown on page 7. This is an LCD
display which uses pre-designated (fixed) words to identify the nature and
location of occurrences.
