Using the HAFM Basic interface
Use the HAFM Basic interface to configure the Edge Switch 2/12. Selectively perform the following

This chapter describes the initial set up of the Edge Switch using the HAFM Basic interface.
For additional information on configuring advanced features using HAFM Basic interface, see the

Launching the HAFM Basic interface
Use the following steps to launch the HAFM Basic interface:
NOTE:
Internet access and a standard web browser is required. HP recommends Netscape
Navigator 4.6 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.

Ensure that the browser-capable PC and the Ethernet LAN segment (with the Edge Switch
attached) are connected.

At the PC, launch the browser (Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer).
