Engine does not start or is difficult to start:

Possible cause
Kill switch activated
Side stand extended and gear engaged
Gear engaged and clutch not disengaged
No fuel in tank
Battery flat

Rectification
Set kill switch to operating position (run).
Select neutral or retract the side stand.
Select neutral or pull the clutch lever.
Refuelling ( 77).
Charging battery when connected ( 113).
