EXT IR Input

IR signals can be sent from a location that is not part of a zone to control system sources.
An external power supply must be used to power an IR receiver or keypad assigned to this
function.
Front Connections
Connect a mono 3.5mm interconnect cable from the SS1 System Station to the front of the
PSS1 as shown below.

Rear Connections
Punch-down IR and Ground wires from an IR Output of an ELAN Multi-Room Controller, IR
distribution block (such as ELAN's IRD4), or IR receiver. Two punchdown locations are pro-
vided, each which will hold two wires.
