WARNING
You could lose control of the vehicle while
driving if you:
adjust the driver's seat, steering wheel

fasten the seat belt.

There is a risk of an accident.
Adjust the driver's seat, steering wheel or
mirror and fasten the seat belt before
starting the engine.

WARNING
The exterior mirrors reduce the size of the
image. Objects visible in the mirrors are
closer than they appear. You could misjudge
the distance from road users driving
behind you when changing lanes, for
instance. There is a risk of an accident.
You should therefore always look over your
shoulder to determine the actual distance
from road users driving behind you.
Adjusting the exterior mirrors manually

To adjust the mirror: move lever : to the
right or left, up or down.
Adjusting the exterior mirrors electri-
cally

Turn the key to position 1 or 2 in the
Y
ignition (
page 121).

To select an exterior mirror: turn con-
trol = to position 1 for the left exte-
rior mirror or to position 2 for the
right exterior mirror.

To adjust the mirror: move control = to
the right or left, up or down.
The exterior mirrors can be heated by
switching on the rear window heating

Exterior mirror pushed out of position
If an exterior mirror has been pushed for-
wards or backwards out of position, push
the exterior mirror into the correct posi-
tion manually.
