Your hood is equipped with a metal filter which removes grease and a charcoal filter
which absorbs odo;s. When the fan is operated, air is drawn up through the two filters
and is then discharged out into the room through the openings in the top front of the
hood body.

REMOVE the plastic and paper outer wrappings from the charcoal filter before operat-
ing the hood fan. Remove metal filter and check to see that charcoal filter is unwrapped.
. Before you operate your hood, BE CERTAIN that lbothmetal and charcoal 'filters are
installed as shown in sketch.
