WHEN LOCK LIGHT GLOWS-If you broil
or cookat hightemperatures the locklightmay

fan whenthe OvenSet is switched to CLEAN.
The glowand fan soundindicatethe ovenmay
be too hotfor thelatchto be movedto CLEAN.
However,the lock light and fan do not inter-
fere with normalbaking,broilingor roastin

and the ovenwill performproperlyif usedfo
theseoperations whilethe 1ock1ight glowsand
thefan soundis heard.
IF SMOKING OCCURSDURING CLEAN-
ING becauseof excessivegrease in oven or
utensilbeingleft in ove~ DO NOT TRY TO
FORCEDOOR OPEN but followthesesteps:

SWITCH OVEN SET TO OFF.
b. Openwindowsand door to rid the room of
smoke.
C. AI1ow ovento cool AT LEAST ONEHOUR
beforeopeningthe ovendoor.
d. Correctthe conditionwhichcausedsmoking
andstarttheself-cleaning o venoperating again.
HEATING AND COOLINGof metalduring

soundswhichare considered normal.
