Groups
The top right will display the IP address of the CS18AI. This can be
useful when troubleshooting network and connection issues.
The rest of the screen is divided into two sections. The left is for
selecting an available StudioLive RM mixer for control. The right is
to select an instance of Studio One or Capture for control.
Refer to Section 3 Networking your CS18AI Control Surface for
details on setting up control and networking for the CS18AI.
The groups screen is where you can select and manage Filter DCA Groups. Groups
are a powerful way to control and navigate your mix. Check out Section 5.8 Working
with Filter DCA Groups for ways you can utilize Filter DCA Groups in your mix.
Groups List shows all the groups available on your mixer. Groups are created
automatically when you set up channel types. You can also create your own
groups to fit your individual needs. Use the up and down arrows to scroll
through the list of groups. Press a group to select it. Press the currently
selected group to exit the group and return to the normal channel view.
Adding Groups is done using the plus (+) button. Pressing this
button will open the Group Edit view, where you can select the
channels to assign to the group and name the group.
Edit opens the Group Edit screen, where you can change the channel
assignments for the group, rename the group, or delete the group. To rename
the group, simply touch the name while in the Group Edit screen.
