UPC/EAN Supplementals

Supplementals are additionally appended characters (2 or 5)
according to specific code format conventions (e.g., UPC A+2,
UPC E+2, EAN 8+2). Three options are available.

If UPC/EAN with supplemental characters is selected,
UPC/EAN symbols without supplemental characters are
not decoded.
!
If UPC/EAN without supplemental characters is
selected, and the LS 9100 is presented with a UPC/EAN
plus supplemental symbol, the UPC/EAN are decoded
and the supplemental characters ignored.
!
An autodiscriminate option is also available.
