Opening the "Additional settings" menu

To open the "Additional settings" menu:
Turn the dishwasher off.

Press and hold the  button and turn the dishwasher back on

using the  button.
After that, the display will show the following, for example:

Additional settings

If the  button is pressed in this menu, the dishwasher will revert
to normal operation.
Select Additional settings

This menu can be protected with a PIN code (see "Additional
settings, Code").

PIN code assignment and settings (see "Code")
– Log book
Displays consumption levels for agents used and operating hours
(see "Log book")

Temperature unit
Setting of the temperature unit between °C and °F (see
"Temperature unit")
– Move program
Programs can be allocated to the shortcut buttons (see "Move
program")
– Additional functions
Adaptation of program parameters such as water intake, interim
rinses, temperatures, and holding times, as well as detergent
concentration levels for the DOS modules (see "Additional
functions")
– Release program
Determination of the visibility of individual programs on the display
(see "Program release")
– Water hardness
Setting of the water hardness level (see "Water hardness" and
"Water softener")
– Display view
Setting of the display between the target and actual temperatures
(see "Display view")
Additional settings
and press OK to open the relevant menu.
