3-4-4. SD OUT ADJUST Menu

The SD OUT ADJUST menu is used to electrical adjust-
ment setting for the down converter output. To display the
SD OUT ADJUST menu, press the [F6] (SD OUT ADJ)
key on the ALT MAINTENANCE menu.

The changed setting is retained until the SD OUT ADJUST
menu is exited or the setting is changed again. This setting
is set to OFF when the SD OUT ADJUST menu starts up.

[F1] (SDI PLL) Key
Performs the setting for the SD SDI free-run frequency
adjustment.
[F2] (VIDEO LEVEL) Key
Performs the setting for the composite video output
adjustment.
[F10] (EXIT) Key
Exits the SD OUT ADJUST menu and returns to the ALT
MAINTENANCE menu.

[F1] (SDI PLL) Key
Performs the setting for the SD SDI free-run frequency
adjustment.
Execution Procedure
On the SD OUT ADJUST menu, press the [F1] (SDI PLL)
key several times to change the setting.
OFF: Normal state
ON: Mutes the SD SDI to stop the PLL operation and
makes the VCO free-running.

When the setting is ON, the SD SDI OUT connector
outputs nothing.

Performs the setting for the composite video output
adjustment.

LEVEL) key several times to change the setting.
OFF: Normal state
ON: Outputs the COLOR BARS test signal.

The test signal can be recorded on a tape.
