Polling Receiving
Polling receiving enables you to retrieve documents stored in remote
machines for polling.
1.
Press [Add. Mode].
2.
Press [
] or [
press [OK].
3.
Use the numeric keys, one-touch speed dialing
keys, coded speed dialing codes, or [Address
Book] key to enter a destination, then press [OK].
If the senders set a subaddress and/or password, you also need to set the
same subaddress and/or password under the one-touch speed dialing key
or coded speed dialing codes. See "Storing/Editing One-Touch Speed Dialing
Keys/Coded Speed Dialing Codes" p. 3-6.
4.
Repeat the previous step to enter all required
recipients (up to 131), then press [Start].
You can enter only up to 16 destinations if using the numeric keys.

Relay

Relay enables you to send a document to a remote machine (relay
station), which in turn sends the document to other destinations. (The
remote machine needs to have the relay feature.) How the document is
handled after it reaches the relay station depends on what function is
registered in the station's subaddress.

Set documents.

Press [Add. Mode].

] to select <RELAY>, then press
[OK].
4.
Use the numeric keys, one-touch speed dialing
key, coded speed dialing, or [Address Book] key to
specify the relay station, then press [OK].
5.
Use the numeric keys to change or enter the relay
station's subaddress (up to 20 digits), then press
[OK].
Ex.
S U B A D D R E S = 1 2 3 4 _
6.
Use the numeric keys to enter the password (up to
20 digits).
If no password is required, press [OK].
Ex.
P A S S W O R D = 5 6 7 8 _
7.
Press [Start].
