CAUTION: Do not lift the system board by holding a memory module, processor, or other
components.
NOTE: Exercise caution when you install the system board into the chassis, because installing
the system board may cause damage to the optical drive cable connector that is connected to
front of the system board.
Steps
1.
Hold the system board by the memory riser guide, lift the blue release pin, and slide the system board
toward the front of the system.
2.
Lift the system board away from the chassis until it clears the retention pins on the chassis.
3.
Holding the memory riser guide and metal bracket, angle the system board toward the back of the
chassis.
