Disassembling planetary gear
- Place collector under gearbox.
K - Remove ATF overflow tube -1- and screw
plug -2-
- Drain ATF.
- Close ATF cooler connections.
- Remove torque converter from gearbox page
32-1.
K - Secure gearbox to assembly support (arrow).
Comply with note.
Caution!
The centre of gravity of the gearbox is located
outside the turning centre on the tensioning block.
To turn the gearbox a second mechanic must hold
the gearbox housing to prevent back-swing.
Note:
Before first securing the gearbox the gearbox
holder must be finished in accordance with the
measurements below.
