Inspecting cable connection be-

Perform if:
the actuator diagnosis or
the electrical test indicates faults in or between
gearbox and gearbox control unit -J217.
Test requirements:
Ignition switched off
Connect test box V.A.G 1598/18 only to 68-pin
connector of gearbox wiring harness.
Perform measurements with test box
V.A.G 1598/18 outside the vehicle.
