The Deluxe Radio, using a power transistor at the audio output
stage,
does not require a
vibrator,
power transformer or rectifier. By elimi-
nating the vibrator, a mechanical hum is avoided.
THE ELECTRAMATIC WON-
DER BAR RADIO-A transistor-
ized receiver is used in the Electra-
matic
Radio.
A power transistor,
along with a new low voltage tube
series, eliminates the vibrator,
power transformer and
rectifier.
This radio is equipped with a "selector bar" and five push buttons to
give automatic tuning of any available station in
any
locality by
touching either the bar or any of the five pre-set buttons.
(NOTE: Procedure for settin!1 push buttons identical
to·
that used on Deluxe
Radio).
A sliding sensitivity control lever is located above the dial. Moving
the control lever from left to right increases the
selectivity
range from
only the strongest stations to any listenable station.
The
"on-off"
switch and volume control are operated by the left
hand knob.
