What this message means
The printer cannot establish
communications with an installed
network port.
The printer has lost the connection to
an external print server (also called an
external network adapter or ENA).
An unsupported option card is installed
in one of the ports or an unsupported
flash DIMM is installed in a memory
slot.
Data has been sent to the printer
through a serial port, but the serial port
is disabled.
Data has been sent to the printer
through a parallel port, but the parallel
port is disabled.
Data has been sent to the printer
through a USB port, but the USB port
is disabled.
Either too many drawers with matching
trays are attached to the printer or the
input configuration is invalid. (For
example, a duplex unit is not installed
directly underneath the printer, but
under a tray instead.)
Too many output options have been
attached to the printer.
