The following dietary program was created for use with your Bowflex Xtreme by Dr. Ellington Darden.

Introduction
The Bowflex® Xtreme
TM
This program is scientifically designed for maximum fat loss
over six weeks. It is important that you practice every aspect
of the plan to achieve optimum results.

Only your physician or healthcare professional can
determine if this course is appropriate for your
particular age and condition.
If you choose to use this program, you assume all

The program separates into three two-week stages. During
each stage you will exercise, control the number and quality
of calories you consume, and drink plenty of ice-cold water.
B e f o re starting the exe rcise ro u t i n e, you must be familiar with
your Bowflex Xtre m e . You should experiment with finding the
p roper amount of resistance and speed to use during yo u r
w o rkouts to remain in your target fat-burning heart - rate zon e .
If you experience any lightheadedness, d i z z i n e s s , o r
s h o rtness of breath while exe rc i s i n g, stop the
m ovement and consult a physician or healthca re
p ro fe s s i on a l .
Make sure you read your Bowflex Xtreme
Owner's Manual before attempting a workout.
There are a few people who should not try this
program: children and teenagers; pregnant women;
women who are breast feeding; diabetics; individuals
with certain types of heart, liver, or kidney disease;
and those suffering from certain types of arthritis.
