Adjusting
the white
balance
manually
You can manually adjust and set the white balance. This adjustment makes white
subjects look white and allows more natural color balance. Normally white balance is
automatically
adjusted.
(1)
In CAMERA
or MEMORY
(DCR-IlVBT
only) mode, select FN, then press the
center 0 on the control button. The PAGE1 screen appears.
(2) Select MENU,
then press the center 0 on the control button. The m&m
appears.
(3) Select WHT BAL through
&Z!, then press the center 0 or b on the control
button.
(4) Select the desired white balance mode, then press the center 0 on the control
button.
HOLD (HOLD) : Recording a single-colored subject or background
OUTDOOR (<+) :
*Recording
a sunset/sunrise,
just after sunset, just before sunrise, neon signs, or
fireworks
l
Under a color matching fluorescent lamp
INDOOR (&) :
l
When lighting conditions change quickly
l
In bright places such as photography
studios
l
Under sodium lamps or mercury lamps
(5) Press DISPLAY
to turn off the menu.
To return to the FN screen
Select 3
RETURN, 3,
then press the center 0 on the control button after step 4. The
PAGE1 screen appears. Next, select EXIT, then press the center 0 on the control button.
