Playing back a tape
Remaining battery time indicator during playback
The indicator shows the approximate continuous playback time. The indicator may not
be correct, depending on the conditions in which you are playing back. When you close
the LCD panel and open it again, it takes about 1 minute to display the correct
remaining battery time.
To view a still image (playback pause)

Select /), then press the center 0 on the control button during playback. To resume

normal playback, select It, then press the center 0 on the control button again.

Press PAUSE on the Remote Commander during playback. To resume normal
playback, press PAUSE again.
To advance the tape
l
Select IHQI, then press the center 0 on the control button when the tape is not being
played back. To resume normal playback, select 1), then press the center 0 on the
control button.

Press FF on the Remote Commander when the tape is not being played back. To
resume normal playback, press PLAY.
fo rewind the tape
l
Select m, then press the center 0 on the control button when the tape is not being
played back. To resume normal playback, select 1), then press the center 0 on the
control button.
'0 Press REW on the Remote Commander when the tape is not being played back. To
resume normal playback, press PLAY.
To locate a scene while monitoring the picture (picture search)
l
Select H or H, then keep pressing the center 0 on the control button during
playback. To resume normal playback, release the button.
l
Keep pressing REW or FF on the Remote Commander during playback. To resume
normal playback, release the button.
To monitor the high-speed picture while advancing or
rewinding the tape (skip scan)
l
Select m, then keep pressing the center 0 on the control button while rewinding the
tape, or select IHII, then keep pressing 0 while advancing the tape. To resume normal
rewinding or advancing, release the button.
l
Keep pressing REW on the Remote Commander while rewinding the tape, or keep
pressing FF on the Remote Commander while advancing the tape. To resume normal
rewinding or advancing, release the button.

To view the picture at slow speed (slow playback)
Press SLOW on the Remote Commander during playback. To pause playback, press
PAUSE on the Remote Commander. To resume normal playback, press PLAY on the
Remote Commander.
