Configuring RAS for PPTP Tunneling

Procedure

Proceed as follows to configure the RAS server:
Step Action and Description
1 After the 'Installing the PPTP Tunneling Network Protocol' procedure,
the 'Remote Access Setup' window pops up.
Click
configuration.
In the example window, one (voiceband) modem is shown, which
already was configured for RAS.
2 The 'Add RAS Device' window pops up.
You must add each port individually. To do so, double click on the
correct port and click
The 'Remote Access Setup' window reappears, now with the VPN

port added to the device list.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all VPN ports are listed in the 'Remote
Access Setup' window.
At this point the ports are configured by default for dial in only. To

change this, select a port in the 'Remote Access Setup' window and
click
