This section describes how the
operations have an impact on the entries in the filtering database
of the bridge.
One of the characteristics of a databridge is the number of
supported Bridge ports. A Bridge port is the logical equivalent of
an interface. By default the
Ethernet port, and four remote ports. The remote ports are
mapped to virtual ATM channels on the ADSL line.
