Notes: In a redundant DC configuration, when swapping the DC power supply, the power source
should be turned off (typically at the breaker panel). It should be turned on only after reinserting the
new DC power supply into the chassis.

Connecting to the Console Port

The RJ-45 serial port on the front panel is used to connect to the switch for out-of-band console
configuration. The on-board configuration program can be accessed from a terminal or a PC
running a terminal emulation program.

LEDs on both modules are lit as indicated in the preceding step.
