Adjusting the Fader

Touch [F) or [R] to adjust the volume of the front and
rear speakers.
Setting range: F15 to R15
• Determine your desired setting value by touching and moving [C].
• Ifyou set the 2.2ch (3WAY)14.2ch (FRONTIREARISUBW) switch of
the IMPRINT audio processor (P)(A-H 100) to 2.2ch (3WAY), you
cannot adjust the FADER mode. For details, refer to the Owner's
Manual of PXA-H 100.
Adjusting BasslTreble

You can change the bass or treble frequency emphasis
to create your own tonal preference.
Touch [» ] of BASS/TREBLE to adjusting screen.
• When an external audio processor is connected, the list is not
displayed.
• /fOFF is set in "Changing MultEQ mode" (page 43) when the
IMPRINT audio processor is connected. the list is not displayed.
Setting the Bass level

You can emphasize or weaken the bass frequency.

Setting range: -7 to + 7
Setting the Bass Center Frequency

Setting the Bass Bandwidth (a-Factor)

Changes the boosted bass bandwidth to wide or narrow. A
wide setting will boost a wide range of frequencies above
and below the center frequency. A narrower setting will
boost only frequencies near the center frequency.

• The bass level settings will be individually memorizedfor each
source (FM. AM. CD. etc.) until the setting is changed. The bass
frequency and bass band width settings adjusted for one source are
effective for all other sources (FM. AM. CD, etc.).
Setting the treble level

You can emphasize the treble frequency.
Touch [~] or [~] of TREBLE LEVEL to select the desired treble
level.
Setting range: -7 to + 7
Setting the Treble Center Frequency

The displayed Treble frequency is emphasized.

Setting range: 10kHz. 12.5 kHz. 15 kHz, 17.5 kHz
• The treble level settings will be individually memorized for each
source (FM. AM. CD, etc.) ull/il the setting is changed. The Treble
frequency settings adjusted for one source are effective for all other
sources (FM. AM. CD. etc.).
Setting the Loudness

Loudness introduces a special low- and high-frequency
emphasis at low listening levels. This compensates for
the ear's decreased sensitivity to bass and treble sound.

• The Loudness item is not displayed when an external audio processor

Adjusting Highpass Filter

With the car stopped and Defeat set to off, touch

Setting range: OFF. 80 Hz. 120 Hz. 160 Hz
• Select OFF when no adjustmell/ is required.
• The H.P.F. item is 1I0t displayed when all IMPRINT audio processor
or external audio processor is cOllnected.
Subwoofer On and Off

] of SUBWOOFER to set to ON or OFF.
OFF: Subwoofer output is off.
ON: Subwoofer output is on.
Adjusting the Subwoofer Level

When ON is set in "Subwoofer On and Off', the item is displayed.
When an external audio processor is connected, the list is not displayed.

The display changes to the SUBWOOFER Adjusting screen.

Setting range: 0 to 15
Switching the Subwoofer phase
~
The setting range is displayed when the optional IMPRINT audio
processor is connected, "Changing MultEQ mode" (page 43) is set to
OFF, and "Subwoofer On and Off' is set to ON while the car is stopped.
The subwoofer output phase is toggled SUBWOOFER NORMAL (0°)
or SUBWOOFER REVERSE (180°).
