Gathering Firmware Installation Information
It is important to gather the current manufacturing and license details before installing new
firmware onto the VNM Recorder. The

From the matrix_rec window, right-click on the firmware package file and select the

NOTE: The firmware files are extracted to a subdirectory that is automatically
named according to the package file, e.g.

Double-click on the folder that contains that latest release of the recorder software
(at the time this guide was released, the latest software would be stored in the
folder or in a folder with a similar name).
Right-click on the
config.xml
option. A text window appears containing information needed to complete the firmware
installation. This text window should be kept open or printed out for reference.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the
VNRecorder_verx.xx.x
and the
config.xml
