Answering system settings

Remote access code

A 2-digit security code is required to access the answering system remotely
from any touch-tone telephone. The preset code is 19. You can change the
code to any number from 00 to 99.
To change the remote access code:
Using a handset or the telephone base:
1. Press MENU
2. Use CID or DIR on the handset, or
the telephone base

4. Press CID or DIR on the handset, or

5. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to enter a 2-digit number
from 00-99.
• Press

• Press CID or DIR on the handset or

Press SET to save. You hear a confirmation tone.
