CARBURETORS
13. Check:
S fuel hoses
Cracks/damage/wear ! Replace.
Obstruction ! Clean.
Blow out the hoses with compressed air.

ASSEMBLING THE CARBURETORS

The following procedure applies to all of the car-
buretors.
CAUTION:
S Before assembling the carburetors, wash
all of the parts in a petroleum-based sol-
vent.
S Always use a new gasket.
1. Install:
S O-ring
New
S washer
S pilot screw spring
S pilot screw 1
Pilot screw
2 turns out
2. Install:
S piston valve
S jet needle kit
S jet needle holder
S piston valve spring
S vacuum chamber cover
NOTE:
S Insert the end of the piston valve spring onto
the spring guide on the vacuum chamber cov-
er.
S Align the tab on the piston valve diaphragm
with the recess in the carburetor body.
