Steps
To set up IP filtering.
1. Make sure a PC is connected to the cable modem and both devices are powered on
and functioning.
2. Go to Tools > Client List in the Web user interface. Refer to
Interface on page
3. Note the MAC address and IP address of the devices to which you want to deny
Internet access. For more information, refer to
4. Click Gateway from the main menu.
5. Click IP Filtering from the left side menu.
6. Enter the MAC address and IP address of devices to which you want to deny Internet
access.
7. Click Apply. Field descriptions are listed below the screen example.

Using the Port Filtering Option

Port Filtering allows you to configure port filters to block to all devices on the LAN
Internet services that use specific ports.

Label
Defines the starting IP address to filter.
Defines the ending IP address to filter.
Activates the rule when enabled is checked.
Saves all screen changes when clicked.
