Symptom
Printouts are curled.
Cannot print.
Printouts are totally too light.
Part of the image is
periodically faint or shows
white lines.
Printouts are fuzzy.
Texts are not clearly printed.
Checkpoints
Is the paper damp?
Is the machine plugged in?
Is the machine powered on?
Are the printer cable and network cable
connected?
Is the machine used as a shared
printer?
Was the machine powered on before the
printer cable was connected?
Is the print job paused?
Is the paper damp?
Have you changed the density?
Is the toner distributed evenly within the
toner container?
Is EcoPrint mode enabled?
Is the machine being used in conditions
of very humid, or humidity or
temperature rapidly changes?
Did you choose appropriate image
quality for the original?
Corrective Actions
Replace the paper with new paper.
Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
Turn on the power switch.
Connect the correct printer cable and
network cable securely.
Start up the Host PC.
Power on the machine after connecting
the printer cable.
Resume printing.
Replace the paper with new paper.
Select appropriate density level.
Shake the toner container from side to
side several times.
Disable EcoPrint mode.
Make sure the paper type setting is
correct for the paper being used.
Run [Drum Refresh].
Use in an environment that has suitable
humidity.
Select appropriate image quality.
