Indoor Unit - No Power
Check Point 1 : Check Installation Condition
p Isn't the breaker down?
p Check loose or removed connection cable.
>>If abnormal condition is found, correct it by referring to
Installation Manual or Data & Technical Manual.
OK
Check Point 2 : Check Outside Cause such as Voltage drop or Noise
Instant drop ----- Check if there is a large load electric apparatus in the same circuit.
Momentary power failure ----- Check if there is a defective contact or leak current in the power supply circuit.
Noise ----- Check if there is any equipment causing harmonic wave near electric line (Neon bulb or electric equipment that may
cause harmonic wave).
Check the complete insulation of grounding.
OK
Check Point 3 : Check Electrical Components
p Check Voltage of power supply.
>> Check AC220V appears at Indoor Unit Terminal 1-2 (Power Supply).
YES
p Check Voltage of Transformer
(Only for small wall mount type).
>> Check if AC220V appears at Transformer
primary side.
YES
p Small Wall mount type: Check Temperature
Fuse of Transformer.
>> If Temp. Fuse of Transformer is open,
replace the transformer.
OK
If the symptom does not change by above Check3,
replace Power PCB.
Forecast of Cause :
1. Power Supply failure 2. Outside cause 3. Electrical Component defective

p Check Fuse (F101) in Power PCB.
>> If Fuse is open, check if the wiring between Terminal and
Power PCB is loose, and replace Fuse.
p Check Varistor (VA101, VA102) in Power PCB.
>> If Varistor is defective, there is a possibility of an abnormal
power supply (BACK CHECK 1). Check the correct power
supply and replace Varistor.
