thesewaterpressureguidelines.

waterpressureof14psi(97kPa)andaminimum
waterflowrateof0.4gpm(1.5lpm).
• W aterpressureof40psi(276kPa)isrequiredto
achievemaximumflowrate.

system,thewaterpipingMUSTbein"parallel"and
thewaterpressureateachwaterheatershouldbe40
psi(276kPa).

minimumsystempressureof40psi(276kPa).The
pressureshouldremainconstantandstableduring
theoperationofthewaterheater.
• G ravitywaterpressureisnotrecommended.When
thewaterissuppliedfromawatersupplytank,the
heightofthetank,thediameterofthesupplypipes,
andtheirrelationtowaterpressureneedtobetaken
intoconsideration.

 Beforeattachingthewaterlinetothewaterheater,
opentheshut-offvalve.Runthewateruntilit
haspurgedallcontaminants(sand,debris,air,
caulking,etc.).

supplylineandconnectittothewaterinletonthe
waterheater.
