manufacturerspecifications.
CAUTIONS:

lumpy,orthickened.
• D oNOTthinsolventcement.Observeshelf
precautionsprintedonthecontainers.
• F orapplicationsbelow32°F,useonlylower
temperature-typesolventcement.
• A ppropriatesolventandcleanermustbeusedforthe
typeofventpipeused(PVC,CPVC,orABS).

(ABSisnotallowedforexhaustventinCanada).
CementingJoints
1. C utpipeendsquare;removejaggededgesand
burrs.Chamferendofpipe;thencleanfitting
socketandpipejointareaofalldirt,grease,or
moisture.
2.  A ftercheckingpipeandsocketforproperfit,wipe
socketandpipewithcleaner-primer.Applyaliberal
coatofprimertoinsidesurfaceofsocketand
outsideofpipe.
3. A pplyathincoatofcementevenlyinthesocket.
Quicklyapplyaheavycoatofcementtothepipe
andinsertpipeintofittingwithaslighttwisting
motionuntilitbottomsout.
4. H oldthepipefittingfor30secondstopreventthe
taperedsocketfrompushingthepipeoutofthe
fitting.
5. W ipeallexcesscementfromthejointwitharag.
Allow15minutesbeforehandling.Curetimewill
varyaccordingtofit,temperature,andhumidity.
NOTICES:
• C ementmustbefluid;ifnot,recoatwithfresh
cement.
• S tirthesolventfrequentlywhileusing.Useanatural
bristlebrushorthedaubersuppliedwiththecan.
Theproperbrushsizeisoneinch.
