Main PCB failure
- Toner may be empty. Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
Cause
<User Check>
- The paper tray ground terminal provided in the
machine body may be dirty. Clean the contact with a
dry cloth.
- Replace the drum unit with a new one.
- Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
Cause
- Check the machine's environment, conditions such as high humidity
may cause this situation to occur.
- Check that the appropriate media type is selected in the printer driver.
- Make a print in the color mode.
- Replace the drum unit with a new one.

Remedy
Replace the high-voltage power supply PCB
ASSY.
Replace the engine PCB ASSY.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Remedy
Clean the electrodes of the drum unit and
main body. (Refer to
Fig. 2-10 (P2-62)

(P2-63))
Correct bending of paper tray ground
terminal.
This symptom might disappear after making
approximate 10 prints.
Replace the fuser unit.
Replace the high-voltage power supply PCB
ASSY.
Remedy
Clean the erase lamp lens. (Refer to
Fig. 2-10 (P2-62)
and
Fig. 2-13
Replace the high-voltage power supply PCB
ASSY.
Replace the engine PCB ASSY.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
