Disk
Removal
-
Push back the pistons.
1 -
Watch out for rising brake fluid levels in the
tank.
Remove the two bolts (2) holding the caliper on the

pivot.
Release the caliper and attach it in the wheel arch.
3 -
Do not damage the hose (1).
4 - Remove the two disc mounting bolts (3).
5 - Remove the track shim and the disk.
Refitting
-
1 - Fit the disc onto the hub.
2 - Fit the track shim (ref 77 11 160 154).
3 - Fix the assembly with two new bolts and tighten to 21Nm.
4 - Refit the brake caliper and tighten to 164Nm.
Press the brake pedal several times in order to place the piston in contact with the

pads.
