Changing fluid level of hydraulic clutch

Move the clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

Remove screws
–
Remove the cover
–
Check the fluid level.
Fluid level under top level of container.: 4 mm (0.16 in)
> The fluid level does not comply with specifications.
–
Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.

Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.

Replace membrane

Move the clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

Remove screws

Remove the cover

Fill the bleeding syringe
Bleed syringe (50329050000)
Hydraulic fluid (
–
On the slave cylinder, remove the bleeder screw

Inject the liquid into the system until it escapes from the bore hole
cylinder without bubbles.
–
To prevent overflow, drain fluid occasionally from the master cylinder reservoir.
–
Remove the bleeding syringe. Mount and tighten screws bleeder screw.
–
Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.
Rules
Fluid level under top level of container.: 4 mm (0.16 in)

Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.

Replace membrane, lid and screws.
The idle setting of the carburetor has a big influence on the starting behavior, stable
idling and the response to throttle opening. That means that an engine with a correctly
set idle speed is easier to start than if the idle is set wrongly.

The carburetor and its components are subject to increased wear caused by
engine vibration. Wear can result in malfunctioning.
The idle speed is adjusted with the adjustmenr screw
