Keypad procedures

Keypad replacement

Tools Required

Phillips head screwdriver

11/32" wrench
1. Follow procedure for right cover removal.
2. Follow the procedure for bottom cover removal.
3. Unplug keypad cable from the main logic board and gently push
through the hole in the right end plate (Figure 47, photos 1 & 2).
4. Rotate the machine back to normal operating position.
5. Remove the keypad resistor from the keypad (Figure 47, pho-
tos 3 & 4).
6. Follow the procedure for Y-transmission replacement later in this
chapter and set the transmission aside.
7. Remove the two keypad mounting (11/32") nuts (Figure 47, photo 6).
