8-10 Phaser 480 Color Printer
1. Turn off the printer. Remove the power cord.
2.
Push the top cover release to open the top cover.
3. Remove the left-side, right-side and lower rear covers as explained in
the earlier topic "The printer covers" on page 8-2.
4. Open (push back) the gray plastic paper guide.
5.
Loosen the left-side paper-feed belt tensioner.
6. Alter the feed roller's ring stopper from its extended position to its
shortened position by separating the two halves and rotating one of
the halves until they fit together as shown.
