Upper Oven Control Board

To remove the upper oven control board:
1.
Remove the rear cover. (See
Note: In the following step, do not remove the relay
jumper wire (orange wire) or the wire harness wiring
from the control board.
2.
Disconnect the control board wire harness and
remove the connectors at board locations J7,
J16, and J17 .
3.
Remove the 5 Phillips-head screws that attach
the board to the frame.
4.
Transfer the relay jumper wire and the control
board wire harness to the replacement board.

Oven Temperature Sensor

The oven temperature sensor has a resistance of:
Ω at room temperature
1091
Ω at 350°F
1654
Ω at 865°F (Clean temperature)
2634
The oven temperature sensor has a resistance
change rate of 2 Ω per °F.
To remove the oven temperature sensor:
1.
Disconnect power.
2.
Remove rear cover. (See

Disconnect the sensor wire harness.
4.
Remove oven racks.
5.
Remove the two ¼-in. hex-head screws that
attach the sensor to the broiler element bracket.
6.
Carefully pull the sensor and sensor wiring
harness from the oven liner.
