Press IMPRINT repeatedly to choose the desired
mode.
Each press changes the mode as follows:

• If IMPRINT is not pressed within 5 seconds after selecting the
Subwoofer, Bass, Treble, Balance or Fader mode, the unit
automatically returns to normnl mode.
• Loudness introduces a special low-and high-frequency emphasis at
low listening levels. This compensatesfor the ear's decreased
sensitivity to hass and treble sound. The function is inoperable when
DEFEAT is set to ON.
• 1 When the subwoofer mode is set to OFF, its level cannot be adjusted.
.2/fyou set the 4.2ch (FRONT/REARISUBW.)12.2ch (3WAYj switch of
the IMPRINT audio processor (PXA-H looj to 2.2ch (3WAYj. you
wnnot adjust the FADER mode. For details, refer to the Owner's
Manual of PXA-Hloo.

When an extemal audio processor is connected, this setting cannot
be made.

Turn the Double Action encoder until the desired
sound is obtained in each mode.
• Depending on the connected devices, some functions and display
indications do not work.

Turning Subwoofer ON/OFF
When the subwoofer is on, you can adjust the subwoofer output level
(refer to page 18).
For this unit, the following setting can be made only when the
IMPRINT audio processor (PXA-H 1(0) is not connected.

Press and hold IMPRINT for at least 2 seconds to
activate the AUDIO selection mode.

Turn the Double Action encoder to select the
SUBW mode, and then press ~/ENTER.

Setting the Subwoofer System
When the subwoofer is on, you can select either SYS I or SYS 2 for the
desired subwoofer effect.
For this unit, the following setting can be made only when the
IMPRINT audio processor (PXA-HIOO) is not connected.

Press and hold IMPRINT for at least 2 seconds to
activate the AUDIO selection mode.

Turn the Double Action encoder to select the
SUBW SYSTEM mode, and then press ~IENTER.

Turn the Double Action encoder to select the
SUBW SYS 1 or SUBW SYS 2, and then press
~/ENTER .

Subwoofer level changes according to the main
volume setting.
Subwoofer level change is different from the main
volume setting. For example, even at low volume
settings, the subwoofer is still audible.
