The sync application on your smartphone is
called ActiveSync. The name of the
desktop sync software on your computer
depends on your computer's operating
system:
Windows XP computer: The desktop
sync software is called ActiveSync
desktop software.
Windows Vista computer: The desktop
sync software is called Windows Mobile
Device Center.
Synchronizing wirelessly with the server
You can set up your smartphone to
synchronize email and other information
wirelessly with Microsoft Exchange Server
2007 or Exchange Server 2003 using
Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (see

choose this method, synchronization takes
place automatically after setup. You do not
need to install the software from the
