Below is a list of some of the possible malfunctions.

Problem
The hob cannot
be turned on.
The touch
controls are
unresponsive.
The touch
controls are
difficult to
operate.
The glass is
being scratched.
Some pans
make crackling
noises.
Important:
Steam cleaners must not be used when cleaning this appliance.
Possible Causes
No power.
The controls are
locked.
You may be using
the tip of your finger.
The control area
may be wet.
Rough edged
cookware.
Unsuitable cleaning
products being used.
May be caused by
the construction of
your cookware.

Remedy
Ensure the hob is
connected to the
power supply and that
it is switched on.
Check whether there is
a power outage in your
area.
Unlock the controls,
see section "Using
Your Hob".
Use the ball of your
finger on the controls.
Make sure the control
area is dry.
Use cookware with flat
and smooth bases.
See "Care and
Maintenance".
This is normal for
cookware and does not
indicate a fault.
