Settings
Select the operation of the internal audio test signal generator.
SILNC: Silent signal.
1kHz : 1-kHz, –20 dB FS sine wave signal.
When you select SG as the audio input in the input selection section of the upper control
panel, the audio test signal generated by the internal audio test signal generator is input.
Select the audio reference level (headroom) for recording on tape.

The factory default setting is –20 dB (DSR-70A)/–18 dB (DSR-70AP).
Select the audio output reference level.

Settings
Selects the signal input method for sequential recording on the recorder and player.
PAR: The video and audio signals you will record are input to the recorder and player
separately.
CAS: The video and audio signals you will record are input to the player, and input to
the recorder as output signals from the player.
