Speaker Installation
The illustration below shows a basic example of installation of the amplifier combined with 8 speakers and
a monitor.

Place the front speakers to the
sides of the monitor or screen and
as flush with the screen surface as
possible.
The table below shows a typical speaker configuration for the AVR-2309CI.

For surround back speakers:
• By default, the AVR-2309CI's "Amp Assign" setting is set to "ZONE2". To use as the surround back
speaker for the MAIN ZONE, change the" Amp Assign" setting (ll25"page 35).
• When using just one surround back speaker, connect it to the left channel (SBL).
For ZONE2 speakers:
• For multi-zone connection and operation, see" Amp Assign / Multi-zone Connections and Operations"
(ll25"page 69 - 72).
