4. To decrease the highlighted
setting, do one of the following:
Turn the TUNE/TONE knob
anticlockwise.
Turn the MENU/SELECT
knob anticlockwise.

Press the
REV button.
Press the
SEEK button.
To quickly adjust balance or fade to
the middle position, press the
pushbutton positioned under the
BAL or FADE label for more than
two seconds.
To quickly adjust all speaker and
tone controls to the middle position,
press the TUNE/TONE knob for
more than two seconds.
Adjusting the Equaliser (EQ)
If the radio has this feature, the EQ
can be adjusted between talk and
manual.
To choose an EQ setting:
1. Press the TUNE/TONE knob.
2. Select EQ.
3. Select Talk or Manual.
4. Press the Back button to go
back to the Tone Settings menu.
System Settings
CONFIG: Press to adjust the
number of favourites pages and
auto volume. The FAV and AUTO
VOL tabs display. The display will
time out after approximately ten
seconds.
Configuring the Number of
Favourite Pages
The number of favourites pages can
be setup using the CONFIG button.
To setup the number of favourites
pages:
1. Press the CONFIG button to
display the radio setup menu.
2. Press the softkey below the
FAV tab.
3. Select the desired number of
favourites pages by pressing the
softkey below the displayed
page numbers.
4. Press the FAV button or let the
menu time out, to return to the
original main radio screen
showing the radio station
frequency tabs and to begin the
process of programming
favourites for the chosen number
of pages.
Speed Compensated
Volume (SCV)
SCV automatically adjusts the
sound to compensate for road and
wind noise as the vehicle speeds up
or slows down, so that the volume is
consistent while driving. To
activate SCV:
1. Set the radio volume to the
desired level.
2. Press the CONFIG button to
display the radio setup menu.
