Symbol Native Bar Code Reader
This mode is supported by a Symbol bar code reader
driver and provides maximal flexibility and control over
the scanner. The software will prompt you to select or
install the driver. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Symbol COM Port Emulation
In this mode, scanned data is presented to the host as if
it originated in a COM port. A Symbol driver is required
to support this mode, but it provides compatibility for an
application which supports a bar code reader attached
to a COM port. The software will prompt you to select or
install the driver. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Select the desired type of USB device. The default is
IBM Hand-Held USB.
