200 UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
When you remove your foot from the accelerator pedal ;
the vehicle speed will go back to the set speed, or to the
speed of the target vehicle whose speed is less than the
set speed.

To Cancel

The following conditions cancel the system:
• The brake pedal is applied.
• You depress the brake pedal.
• You press the CANCEL switch.
• An Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) event occurs.
• A Trailer Sway Control (TSC) event occurs.
• The transmission is shifted into NEUTRAL.
• The Electronic Stability Control/Traction Control Sys-
tem (ESC/TCS) activates.
• The vehicle parking brake is applied.
• The driver switches ESC to full-off mode.
NOTE: If ACC is resumed or set with the ESC/TCS off,
ESC will automatically be re-engaged.

To Turn Off

The system will turn off and clear the set speed in
memory if:
• You push the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) ON/
OFF button.
• You push the Normal (Fixed Speed) Cruise Control
ON/OFF button.
• You turn OFF the ignition.
• You switch to Four-Wheel Drive Low.
