Self-diagnosis display

The projector has a self-diagnosis display on its side to show errors or warnings automatically. (x page 30)
In the following cases, the self-diagnosis display is flipped upside down.
f When [COOLING CONDITION] (x page 96) is set to [AUTO], and the automatically recognized result displayed in [COOLING
CONDITION] on the [STATUS] screen is [AUTO - CEILING].
f When [COOLING CONDITION] (x page 96) is set to [CEILING SETTING].

Measure
f Clean the air filter unit.
f The operating environment temperature is too
high.
f The operating environment temperature is too
high, or the air exhaust port might be blocked.
f The operating environment temperature is too low.
f The operating environment temperature is too
high.
f The operating environment temperature is too
high, or the air exhaust port might be blocked.
f The operating environment temperature is too low.
f Use the projector at an angle not exceeding ±15°
from the horizontal plane.
f The lamp unit for portrait mode is attached.
Replace the lamp unit with one compatible with the
projector.
f It is time to replace the lamp unit. Replace the
lamp unit.
f Failed to light the lamp. Turn the power on again
after the lamp is cooled. If the lamp still does not
light, consult your dealer.
f It is past the time to replace the lamp unit. Replace
the lamp unit immediately.
f Attach the lamp unit.
f Attach the air filter unit.
f Clean or replace the air filter unit. (x page 143)
f The input supply voltage is low. Use electric
wiring that can sufficiently withstand the power
consumption of the projector.
f Battery replacement is required. Consult your
dealer.
f If the display does not clear after switching the
main power off and on, consult your dealer.
f If the display does not clear after switching the
main power off and on, consult your dealer.
